1.表示經(jīng)常性、習慣性,永久性的動作（v.）或存在的狀態(tài)(be)。

通常與頻度副詞sometimes,often,usually,always,everyday(year,month),once(twice,threetimes)aday,等時間狀語連用。一般現(xiàn)在時

2.表示客觀真理，科學原理，自然現(xiàn)象等客觀事實或格言，諺語等。

一般現(xiàn)在時動詞構(gòu)成：

（1）主動語態(tài)：

實義動詞（v原形、三單+s/es）

情態(tài)動詞+v原

（2）被動語態(tài)：be（am/is/are）doneby

一般現(xiàn)在時第三人稱單數(shù)變化：

(1)直接在動詞詞尾加-s.

(2)以字母s,x,ch,sh或o結(jié)尾的動詞，在詞尾直接加-es.
