An old man tried to moved the mountains. 上蔡一中 張之亮Section A 1 (1a-2c)一、教學(xué)設(shè)計思路:本課是一節(jié)任務(wù)型聽說課。通過聽說練習(xí)以達(dá)到靈活運用所學(xué)英語的能力。步驟一:熱身準(zhǔn)備激活學(xué)生已有知識。目的:讓學(xué)生進入上課狀態(tài),導(dǎo)入教學(xué)內(nèi)容。激活學(xué)生已有知識,準(zhǔn)備學(xué)習(xí)新知識,并激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣。步驟二:導(dǎo)入新語言項目 目的:通過一定的場景導(dǎo)入性語言結(jié)構(gòu),同時呈現(xiàn)其用法。步驟三:感受詞語 目的:學(xué)生在教材內(nèi)容的刺激下激活已有的
2、詞語運用,并學(xué)習(xí)新詞語,形成新的詞語運用能力。步驟四:感受新知步驟五:總結(jié)發(fā)現(xiàn)語法規(guī)律,實踐操練語法項目。 目的:引導(dǎo)學(xué)生總結(jié)語法現(xiàn)象,通過練習(xí)和例句,讓學(xué)生理解語法項目更廣泛的用法,提高語法運用的準(zhǔn)確性。步驟六:運用新語言完成任務(wù) 目的:學(xué)生通過小組活動等形式完成任務(wù),體驗新學(xué)知識的真實運用形態(tài),形成在所給語境中運用語言的能力。步驟七:課外拓展,布置作業(yè) 二、教學(xué)目標(biāo): 1. 語言知識目標(biāo):1) 能掌握以下單詞:shoot, stone, remind 能掌握以下句型: How does the story begin? What ha
3、ppened next? What do you think of the story of Yu Gong? What could Yu Gong do if he didnt move the mountains?2) 能夠用英語詢問故事的開始、發(fā)展及后續(xù)等。能夠?qū)适轮械娜宋锘蚯楣?jié)發(fā)表一些簡單的看法或觀點。2. 情感態(tài)度價值觀目標(biāo): 學(xué)習(xí)愚公,要學(xué)習(xí)他“頑強拼搏”的精神。在我們生活工作中存在著很多的“山”。在這些山的面前我們應(yīng)該采取怎樣的態(tài)度對待它?是通過“搬家”來避開它;還是像愚公一樣明知困難卻迎難而上?憑借自己的力量勇敢地克服困難。愚公
4、不畏艱險,不怕困難,勇敢面對的精神,正是值得我們所學(xué)習(xí)的。二、教學(xué)重難點 1. 教學(xué)重點:1) 掌握本課時中出現(xiàn)的生詞:remind2) 學(xué)會詢問故事發(fā)展的基本句型:How does the story begin?What happened next? 2. 教學(xué)難點:學(xué)會表達(dá)故事中的人物或情節(jié),并發(fā)表一些簡單的看法或觀點。四、教學(xué)過程Step 1 Lead in 1. 導(dǎo)入本單元主題。T: Whats the name of the story? S:Yu Gong moves a mountain. T
5、: Do you know other traditional Chinese stories? S1: Hou Yi Shoot the SunsS2: Journey to the WestS3: Nu Wa Repairs the Sky Step 2 Presentation 1. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生們學(xué)習(xí)生詞。讓學(xué)生們看大屏幕來學(xué)習(xí)本課時的生詞。once upon a time, shoot, stone2. Try to remember the new words. Step 3 Writing1. L

9、 he could never do it. Step 5 Pair work 1. Read the questions in the box in 1c. 2. Ss discuss the questions with their partners. 3. Let some pairs ask and answer the questions. e.g. A: How does the story happen? B: There were two very
10、 tall mountains in front of their house. A: What happened next?B: A very old man tried to move the mountains. A: Where would they put all the earth and stone from the mountains? B: They would put them into the sea. Step 6 Listening Work on 2a: T:
11、 Lets continue to listen to the story. 1. Look at the pictures in 2a. Discuss the things they are going to do. When you listen to the story, please number the pictures. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the pictures. 3. Play the recording again to check the a
12、nswers. Work on 2b: 1. Let Ss read the sentences below. Explain some main sentences for the Ss. Make sure they know what to do. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to circle the correct words in the brackets. 1) A man saw Yu Gong and his (children / family) when they were working on
13、 moving the mountains.2) He told Yu Gong he could never do it because he was old and (poor / weak).3) As soon as the man finished (talking /speaking), Yu Gong said that his family could continue to move the mountains after he died.4) Finally, a god was so moved by Yu Gong that he sent (two / three)
