There are many students here.II. 課程展示活動和過程的設計建議(Presentation)1. 新課展示Part B Let s learn more教師可先讓學生通過錄音了解對話大意,引出功能句。T:

3、Well. Liu Zhaoyangs dad is visiting his old school. Are there any differences? Lets listen carefully.1. 教師就本段對話提出問題。Question 1: When was Lius dad at this school? Question 2: Was there a library? Question 3: How many students were there at that time?2. 教師播放錄音,學生在對話中找答案。3. 教師請學生來回答問題,檢測他們對對話的理解。教師引導學生

4、用完整的句子說出問題的答案。Answer 1: Thirty Answer 2: Yes, there Answer 3: About six4. 教師板書上述問題的完整答案:Lius dad was at this school thirty years ago.Yes. There was a library. But there werent so many books.There were about six hundred students at that time.5. 可采用問答、討論的方式進一步講解以上功能句:T: Is Lius dad at this school now?

5、Ss: No.T: When was he here?T / Ss: Thirty years ago.要求學生說出更多類似的時間狀語,如:two years ago, a week ago, five hours ago .教師引導學生繼續(xù)問答,講解There be結(jié)構的過去式:T: Is there a library? / Was there a library at that time?T / Ss: Yes, there was. But there werent so many books.T: How many students were there at that time?T

6、 / Ss: There were about six hundred students at that time.首先可用Is there .?導出Was there?使學生理解表示過去某處有某物時,There be結(jié)構中的動詞be同樣變?yōu)檫^去式was / were。教學小貼士there be結(jié)構的過去式表示某處過去曾經(jīng)有某物,be動詞后的名詞是可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)或不可數(shù)名詞時,be動詞用was,be動詞后的名詞是可數(shù)名詞復數(shù)時,be動詞用were;疑問句需要把was / were提到主語之前,否定句在was/ were后面直接加not,否定形式可縮寫為wasnt/ werent。另外,與人稱代詞

7、連用的be動詞可視情況做個歸納:I, he, she, it要用was;you, we, they則要用were。2. 鞏固活動(1) 要求學生聽錄音并跟讀對話。教師可以要求學生分組朗讀、男女生讀或者同伴間朗讀,也可以鼓勵學生進行示范朗讀。(2) 學生兩人一組分角色朗讀對話,教師及時給予評價。III. 操練活動的設計與實施建議(Practice Activities)1. 做一做,說一說(1) 學生讀對話,完成表格。Thirty years agoThirty years agoNowNowIt was a small school.It is a big school.There were
