1、unit 8 when is your birthday?一、單元教材分析本單元主要學習日期的表達方式。本單元主要圍繞“談論日期”這一話題開展聽、說、讀和寫的學習活動,學習序數(shù)詞的構成以及運用序數(shù)詞表示日期的方法;學會運用 when 引導的特殊疑問句詢問日期;通過學習能掌握英語表達年、月、日的單詞和句型,能夠熟練地談論各種有關日期的話題。此外,還要學習名詞所有格 ( 's 所有格 ) 的構成和使用;學習詢問表達年齡的句型。能夠詢問及表達一些常見的節(jié)日的日期。二、單元學情分析本單元的主題是詢問和談論日期,圍繞這一主題進行一系列的交際活動,使學生掌握日期的表達法,正確使用 when 引導的
2、特殊疑問句對日期進行詢問。在學習日期的表達法時要先學習序數(shù)詞的構成,學生在以前的課程里已經(jīng)學習了基數(shù)詞,對于兩種數(shù)詞之間的區(qū)別一定會令學生感到頭痛,教師要引導學生運用對比的方法,找出構成規(guī)律,總結特殊變化,對比強化記憶。三、單元教學建議采用自主學習、小組合作探究、 classifying, contrasting 和 roleplaying 的學習策略,利用教學圖片、幻燈片、實物 ( 大掛歷、日歷 ) 或制作課件 ( 反映月份特征,課內(nèi)外活動 ) 等來展開課堂教學、 pairwork 問答式的口語交際活動或游戲等小組活動,進行 “詢問和談論日期” 的課堂教學和練習。本單元的教學法建議:語音教學
3、讓學生進行模仿操練;詞匯教學采取情景介紹或演示對比的方式進行教學,讓學生在情境中操練、理解含義并學會運用;口語教學采取pairwork 問答式的口語交際活動或游戲等小組活動互相操練;聽力教學采取圖文配對和對話選擇的方式;寫作教學以填詞、回答問題、寫簡單的短文為主;語法教學總結規(guī)律、抓住特征、模仿操練。四、單元課時分配本單元可用4課時完成教學任務:section a (1a-2e) 用1課時section a (grammar focus-3c) 用1課時section b (1a-2c) 用1課時section b (3a-self check) 用1課時 section a (1a-2e)一

20、s on september 15th. 在9月15號。 when do you watch tv? 你什么時候看電視? at eight oclock. 在八點鐘。 2. my birthday is on may 2nd. may 2nd(5月2日)是日期的表達法。表達具體日期通常為“月份 + 序數(shù)詞”,月份為專有名詞,首字母必須大寫、書寫時日期可以是序數(shù)詞,也可以是基數(shù)詞。如:6月8日 june 8th 或 june 8 8月3日 august 3rd 或 august 3 拓展 英語中表示具體年、月、日的方式通常有兩種:“月 + 日 + 年”或“日 + 月 + 年”。年份要用逗號隔開。
21、如:2017年9月9日可表達為:september 9th, 20179th september, 20173. its on january 5th. 1) 月份后有具體的日期時,前面的介詞用on;若只有年、月就用介詞in。如: on may 22nd 在5月22日 in october 在10月 in 2017 在2017年 2) 該句中的it用來代指時間。如: its august 1st today. 今天是8月1日。 its six oclock now. 現(xiàn)在是6點鐘。 歸納it 還可以代指上文中提到的單數(shù)名詞(事物)。如: whats this in english? 這個用英語
22、怎么說? its a cup. 這是一個茶杯。4. happy birthday! 生日快樂! 句中的happy用于表達祝愿?;卮饡r一般用 thank you! 如: happy teachers day! 教師節(jié)快樂! thank you. 謝謝。 拓展 happy還可以用作形容詞,意為“高興的,愉快的” 相當于glad。如:she has a happy party. 她過了一個愉快的聚會。 5. how old are you? 詢問及回答年齡。 how old 意為“多大年紀;幾歲”,引導特殊疑問句詢問年齡。其句型結構為“how old + be + 主語?”答語通常為“主語 + be
23、 + 基數(shù)詞 + years old”,其中 years old 可以省略。如: how old is your cousin? 表姐多大了? shes thirteen (years old). 她13歲了。 how old are your grandparents? 你爺爺奶奶多大歲數(shù)了? theyre eighty. 他們八十歲了。6. at three this afternoon. 介詞 at 意為 “在”,在本句中表示時間,其后一般跟表示鐘點的詞。如: at 6:00 在6點 at 7:15 在7點15分 辨一辨 表示時間的介詞at, in與on (1) at 常用于時刻前或一些
24、固定的習慣用語中。如: at 9:00 在9點鐘 at noon 在中午(2) in 用在月份、季節(jié)、年份等前面,也可以表示“在早上、在下午、在晚上”。如:in may 在五月in 2017 在2017年in the morning/afternoon/evening 在早上/下午/晚上(3) on 用在日期、星期幾、節(jié)日前,也可用來表示具體某一天的上午、下午或晚上。如: on november 1st 在11月1日 on childrens day 在兒童節(jié) on tuesday evening 在周二晚上 then make some exercises.homework: 1. 復習記憶
