Analysis of Teaching ContentLesson 28 is the fourth lesson in Unit 5, Book 5.This unit focus on the subject Look into science, also teach the students something about science. Students cares about the subject because it is close to everyone. Lesson 28 mainly talks about the mysteries of butterflies, let students to know more biology. 教學(xué)目標(biāo)【知識(shí)目標(biāo)】1. To master the word: biology, butterfly, migrating, fantastic, completely, grandchildren, female, chemical.2. To master the expressions: draw ones attention, return to, as many as, lay eggs, at a university, small piece of forest, leave for.【能力目標(biāo)】Improve the students ability of speaking, listening, reading and writing. Describe some mysteries of nature.【情感目標(biāo)】Know more about the nature, Create the cooperation among the students.【教學(xué)重點(diǎn)】To master the biology.【教學(xué)難點(diǎn)】To learn the adverbial clauses. 課前準(zhǔn)備 Tape recorder, Multimedia 教學(xué)過(guò)程Step 1. Warm-upFree talk: Think about it!1. Would you like to be a biologist when you grow up? Why or why not?2. What mysteries of nature do you know about?Step 2. Presentation1. Lead in: Show the picture of butterfly.2. Explain the new words.3. Show some butterflies and ask students: are they beautiful? What do you know about them?4. Read the lesson by themselves.5. Explain the language points:have been doing sth.:“一直在做某事”,表示從過(guò)去某時(shí)開(kāi)始的某個(gè)動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)一直延續(xù)到現(xiàn)在,而且還在進(jìn)行。表示動(dòng)作的延續(xù)性、重復(fù)性以及感情色彩等。draw ones attention:“吸引某人的注意力”。the phrases about attention:draw ones attention to sth. 使某人注意某事pay attention to sth. 注意、留心give ones attention to sth. 關(guān)心catch ones attention 引起某人注意asas 像.一樣否定形式:not as/so. as.eg: I do my homework as carefully as my brother does. 我做作業(yè)像我哥哥一樣認(rèn)真。spend: 度過(guò),花(錢(qián)/時(shí)間)”過(guò)去式和過(guò)去分詞都是spent。spend time/money(in) doing sth.花費(fèi)時(shí)間/金錢(qián)做某事spend time/money on sth.在某物上花費(fèi)時(shí)間/金錢(qián)spend time with sb.和某人一起度過(guò)時(shí)光lay eggs : 產(chǎn)卵lay的過(guò)去式和過(guò)去分詞都是laying.cut down: 砍伐both. and.: .和. 用于連接兩個(gè)并列成分。當(dāng)它做主語(yǔ)時(shí),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞使用復(fù)數(shù)形式。=not only. but(also). 不僅.而且.反義詞組:neither. nor. 既不.也不.Step 3. Practice1. Listen and follow to the tape.2. Read the lesson and complete the table on page 72.3. Check the answers.4. Work in groups of three to play a game.Task tips: Each group should prepare some pieces of paper and divide them into three columns. Student A writes a persons name in the first column, folds the paper and passes it to Student B. Student B writes a statement beginning with “who”, folds the paper and passes it to Student C. Student C must finish the sentence and read it out loud.Step 4. Consolidation1. Writing: Join the sentences to make attributive clauses.Example:We did some experiments yesterday.
