1、教學設計:冀教版Book 4 Unit 1 Lesson 3 The Sun Is Rising河北省唐山市古冶區(qū)教育局 李晶材料分析本課是冀教版Book 4的第三課,是一首關于春天的歌曲。本課通過歌曲、詩歌等形式讓學生學習單詞、詞組,體會春天的美景,討論春天的活動,鍛煉學生的語言運用能力。學情分析八年級的學生已經具備了一定的語言基礎和一定的語言分析能力,也具備了對所學內容進行整理歸納的能力,能用簡單的語言描述自己或他人。但在表達能力方面,八年級的孩子不再像七年級一樣樂于表達。因此如何讓八年級的孩子們樂于開口說英語、用英語做事情是我們英語教師的重任。教學目標語言知識與能力目標1. 學習詞匯:m

2、elt, hillside, wind, gently;學習短語:one by one。2. 鞏固合成詞的構詞法,能認清合成詞并能猜測大意。3. 通過歌曲等形式,學生能談論并表達春天的活動。情感態(tài)度與價值觀1.鼓勵學生敢于用英語進行表達;2.有英語學習的愿望和興趣,樂于參與英語實踐活動。教學重點1. 詞匯、短語的學習。2. 合成詞的鞏固學習。教學難點培養(yǎng)學生通過歌曲等活動,用英語表達及用英語做事情的能力。教學手段多媒體 教學過程師生活動設計意圖Warming up(Before class).Play the song “ The Sun Is Rising”.The students can

3、 enjoy the song and sing with it gently.通過課前歌曲的播放,既讓學生熟悉了本課內容,又讓他們提前熱身,激發(fā)興趣。Step1:Leading in3(Stop the song and show a picture of spring) Free talkT, “Do you like the song?” “Whats the song about?” “Whats the weather like in spring? “How about the temperature?” “How do you feel about the air?” Ss gi

4、ve the answers. Ss describe spring in English.通過自由交談,學生可以自然而然地開口說英語,并承上啟下,為下面的詞匯學習做鋪墊。 Step 2: Word learning101. a. melt (Show a picture) T, “The weather is warm in spring. So the snow is melting.” Ss guess the meaning and read the word. b. wind windy(Write them on the Bb) c. strongly gently gentle

5、d. hillside hill+side Word building: Compound wordsThen let Ss do some exercise about compound words. f. one by one T, “OK, lets read the new words one by one.” Ss guess the meaning and then they make up sentences with it.2. Ss read the new words and use the new words and phrase to describe spring.通

6、過圖片和言語形成的語境把詞匯和短語自然交織在一起,相互關聯,既讓學生自己體會出意思和用法,又有助于他們記憶。同時,本課的重點“鞏固學習合成詞”也自然地呈現出來,讓學生在表達中學習,在運用中理解。Step 3 : Enjoy the song 9 1. Listen to the song again and put thepictures in the correct order. (Part 1 ofLets Do It)2. Read the song aloud by themselves. Then ask four students to read aloud.3. Sing the

7、 song. First follow the tape gently. Then follow the tape loudly. Next sing the song together without the tape. At last, choose someone to sing it alone.前面的詞匯學習已為學生的聽力掃清了障礙,學生們通過聽、讀、唱等形式達到開口說英語的目的,并進一步激發(fā)熱情,為下面的活動部分做鋪墊。Step 4. Project12(Show pictures about activities in spring)1. Ask and answer in li

9、rite down the activities the Ss like to do in the green part. Then let them discuss with their friends around them about their friends favorite activities. Finish the chart. At last, choose someone to give a report. 先借助鏈式問答和成對問答讓學生對春天的活動來個小熱身,再借助課題活動進一步突破重點和難點,達到讓學生用英語做事情的目的。Step 5: Dig in91. Enjoy

Let Ss try to use each letter in spring to start a sentence and to describe spring.通過有關春天詩歌和諺語的拓展與賞析,陶冶學生的情操,拓展學生的視野,進行語言文化的熏陶及語言潛移默化的輸入。通過造句游戲進一步強化語言的運用,培養(yǎng)學生語言的綜合運用能力和創(chuàng)造力。Step 6: Homework21.
