I bought a new pair of trousers last week. 上周我買了一條新褲子.a pair 后面省略了of shoes一般過去時的一般疑問句用did引導,后面的謂語動詞要用原形.bought - buythem 指 shoesA: No, she bought them in the U.S. 不。她是在美國買的。B: We had some shoes like those a month ago,but we dont have any now. 一個月前我們有這要的鞋。但是現(xiàn)在沒有了。in the U.S. = in the U.S.A=in the United States of Americaa month ago 一個月前,這是用在過去時態(tài)的時間狀語,因此謂語動詞要用過去式.had 是have 的過去式like those 介詞短語,此處作定語修飾shoes, 象那樣的鞋.dont have any 后面省略了shoes like those 象那樣的鞋.We dont have any.= We havent any. A: Can you get a pair for me, please? 您能為我找一雙嗎？B: Im afraid that I cant. They were in fashion last year and the year before last. But theyre not in fashion this year. 恐怕不行。這鞋在去年和前年時興，而今年已不流行了。Can you 在此句中表示請求get 表示收到,弄到a pair 指的是 a pair of shoes like these, 象這樣的一雙鞋.for me 為我 ( for 是介詞)Im afraid 我恐怕eg. Im afraid you cant go with me. 我恐怕你不能和我一起走.that I cant 作afraid 的賓語 這是一個賓語從句,也就是說充當賓語成分的不是單詞或短語,而是一個句子.eg. Im afraid that you cant see your boss at the moment. 我恐怕你現(xiàn)在不能見你的老板. that 引導的句子, you cant see your boss at the moment 作afraid的賓語,因此叫賓語從句,that 可以省略. last year 去年 the year before last 前年 the day before yesterday 前天 be in fashion now 現(xiàn)在正流行B: These shoes are in fashion now. 現(xiàn)在流行的是這種鞋子。A: They look very uncomfortable. 這種鞋子看上去很不舒適。look uncomfortable 看起來不舒服uncomfortable : not comfortable B: They are very uncomfortable.
