教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì) Unit 5 Why do you like pandas? Section A 課型:新授 授課教師:黃向偉 一、Teaching Aims (教學(xué)目標(biāo))1. Knowledge and ability (知識(shí)與技能):1)單詞:panda, koala, Australia, friendly, cute, kind of2)句型:Why do you like ? Because theyre Why does he/ she like? Because theyre2. Process and method (過(guò)程與方法):展開(kāi)各種任務(wù)活動(dòng),使學(xué)生能較熟練地談?wù)撓埠眉捌湓?。引?dǎo)學(xué)生同步閱讀,增強(qiáng)其運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言獲取更多信息的能力。3.Moral attitude (情感態(tài)度和價(jià)值觀):讓學(xué)生描述自己喜歡的動(dòng)物以及喜歡的原因,讓學(xué)生愛(ài)護(hù)并保護(hù)動(dòng)物。4. Leaning strategy(學(xué)習(xí)策略):(1)Guessing. 通過(guò)猜測(cè)的游戲形式調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生積極性,活躍課堂氛圍。(2)Acting. 通過(guò)對(duì)話(huà)表演的形式,可以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的能力。(3)Disscussion. 通過(guò)小組討論, 明確在用中學(xué)、交流中學(xué)習(xí)的思想。5、Cultural awareness(文化意識(shí)):通過(guò)圖片了解動(dòng)物,并喚起學(xué)生保護(hù)動(dòng)物的意識(shí)。二、Teaching Key Points(教學(xué)重點(diǎn)):words: flag, symbol, water, kill, ivory, danger,cut, save,Thailand. Reading skills,the using of words,phrases.三、Teaching Difficult Points(教學(xué)難點(diǎn)):Phrases: be in great danger, cut down , get lost, one of ,be made of . The using of them and how to sum up the central meaning of each paragraph.四:Teaching Aids:(教具):Music,pictures,cards五、Teaching Methods(教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)):Step1 RevisionLet students guess what an animal is it in the picture.What animal is it ?Introduce the students a picture of zoo and the animals in it . The animals in this unit are very interesting. (Intention: by introducing the a famous zoo and the animals , students must be very interested in it. Some of them had gone a zoo before, they remember them and want to express their ideas and thought. At the same time ,they can quickly focus their attention on the topic . )T: Do you like these the zoo and the animals?Ss: T: Do you want to know how to say them in English?T: Look at the picture do you know this animal?Ss: T: Yes, it is cat, we are all familiar with it. Lets see next picture, it is a tiger , it lives in forest, it is very brave and strong. It is the king of forest.T: Now, look at this picture, it is a .T :.(Intention: students can review the words about animals they have learnt before and I can introduce the new words naturally by showing the photos )Step3 listeningStudents are asked to do the listening exercise 1a in page13 .Then, I will check the answers with them. (Intention: in this step, students can consolidate the words they learned few minutes ago. )Step4 presentation Students have learned the new words, then introduce new language structures to them. First, I will present this new language structures on Bb, express the meaning of the new language structures .(Intention: students can gain new knowledge in this step )Step5 drillsI will ask some students to read the conversations after me. Them ask them practice this new language structures with their deskmates and in pairs. Then Ill ask some pairs to show their conversation in the front of the class. Ill check their pronounciation if necessary.(Intention: in this steps, students get drills of the words and sentence structures. Asking them to show their dialogue before class can cultivate their courage. They want to learn and speak English, but most time they are shy and diffident, for fear that they will make mistake, so it is a good chance for them to practise. Summary(小結(jié)): In this class,we have learnt some new words and new patterns,please remember them.How to say the reason you like or dont like them.Let us love and protect animals.
