measuredthoseparticipants1physicalactivityaroundtheclock-everythingfromwalkingaroundthe

housetoexerciseroutines.Researcherscollectedandevaluatedtendaysofmovementdataforeach

participantandcalculatedthelevelsofdailymovement.

Thefindingsshowthathigherlevelsofdailymovementwerelinkedtobetterthinkingandmemory

skills.AndwhenDr.Buchmananalyzedbraintissueunderamicroscope,thisfindingturnedoutto

bethecaseevenforindividualswithatleastthreesignsofAlzheimer'sdisease(B可爾茨海默

病).EventhoughtheseindividualsmighthavebeendiagnosedwithAlzheimer's,30percentof
