8、h,” said one popular post on Weibo.n Japanese businesses, indeed, have been bruised by the tensions and resulting protests, with a number of companies temporarily curbing控制 operations and declining travel packages between the two countries. Some media in China even wartned that Japan could suffer an
9、other “l(fā)ost decade” if trade ties sour變酸 .n Could a Chinese boycott really throw Japan into an economic crash? A better question to consider is whether a broken Japanese economy is in Chinesencitizens best interest.n Among the 138,298 foreigniinvested enterprises in China in 2010, 22, 307 were Japan
10、ese-invested, taking up 16.13 percentage of the total, accordfing to the National Bureau of STatics. If Japan withdrew all of these companies in China under boycotting pressure, about three million Chinese would lose their jobs. That number does not include those indirectly hired workers.n Chinas ur
