I 教學(xué)目標(biāo)1 Knowledge Objectives:Ss can master the meaning, structure and the usage of the Past Progressive Tense and the clause of when and while.2 Ability Objectives: Ss can learn to describe what people were doing by using the Past Progressive Tense and the when and while clause.3 Moral Objectives: Learn the different expressions about how to talk about the things happening in the past. Cooperate with each other and communicate with each other.II 學(xué)情分析本節(jié)課為第五單元的第三課時(shí)。學(xué)生已經(jīng)基本掌握了有關(guān)過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)的含義和句型等用法,為總結(jié)復(fù)習(xí)語(yǔ)法墊定了基礎(chǔ)。本節(jié)課將在學(xué)生現(xiàn)有的知識(shí)水平上,對(duì)when和while引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)進(jìn)行深入的學(xué)習(xí)和探討,并進(jìn)行大量的訓(xùn)練和應(yīng)用。III 重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn)Teaching key points: The meaning, structure and the usage of the Past Progressive Tense and the when and while adverbial clause.Teaching difficult points: Ss can correctly use the when and while clause in the Past Progressive Tense. IV 教學(xué)過(guò)程Step 1 Warming upAsk Ss to make sentences one by one with when and while.E.g.: I was doing the dishes at eight last night. What were you doing while Ms. Xie was doing the dishes? While Ms. Xie was doing the dishes, I was sleeping.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:學(xué)生句子接龍能夠?yàn)檎n堂活躍氣氛,達(dá)到預(yù)熱效果。Step 2 Check homework online1. Open the teachers QQ message and check Ss homework-make conversations in pairs with the Past Progressive Tense.2. Correct the mistakes about the conversations.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:運(yùn)用QQ群作業(yè)功能,展示前一天學(xué)生口語(yǔ)作業(yè)的完成情況,既檢查了作業(yè),又提升了學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性。Step 3 Presentation1.Show a task-chain on the screen. The chain is used for finishing tasks in this class. One road-block is one task.2.Tell Ss they are going for an adventure trip to hunt for treasure.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:用闖關(guān)探險(xiǎn)尋寶來(lái)吸引學(xué)生融入課堂,提高學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)法的興趣。Step 4 Task1 Guessing game1. Watch a video about a disaster. Ask Ss what happened.2. Show some pictures of Chinese famous persons and guess what they were doing at that time.3. Ask: What was he/she/were they doing at the time of/while/when?設(shè)計(jì)意圖:用龍卷風(fēng)的視頻來(lái)導(dǎo)入,設(shè)定動(dòng)作發(fā)生的時(shí)間,通過(guò)圖片讓學(xué)生猜測(cè)名人在當(dāng)時(shí)正在進(jìn)行的動(dòng)作,進(jìn)一步激發(fā)學(xué)生的想象力和說(shuō)英語(yǔ)的渴望。用人物不同的性別和數(shù)量來(lái)復(fù)習(xí)過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)的基本句型。Step 5 Task2 Review the Past Progressive Tense1. Ask one student to come to the front and explain the meaning, time and the structure of the Past Progressive Tense.2. Finish some sentences together. 3. T reads a chant about the Past Progressive Tense for the Ss.4. Ss clap their hands while reading the chant together.5. Ss read again faster.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:探究一用文字呈現(xiàn)的方式來(lái)復(fù)習(xí)歸納過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)的基本用法。Step 6 Task3 Discuss and study when and while1. Read the phrases and sentences on the paper. 2. Discuss in groups and find out the rules of the usage of when and while.3. Fill in the blanks.4. Call some students to come to the front to explain for the classmates.5. Summarize the usage of when and while together.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:探究二中,用兩組不同的短語(yǔ)讓學(xué)生體會(huì)瞬間和延續(xù)動(dòng)作的區(qū)別,用四組不同的句子讓學(xué)生探討when和while在不同情況下的用法區(qū)別。Step 7 Task 4 Consolidation & Exercise1. Watch a micro-class about when and while.2. Do exercises.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:微課中導(dǎo)入了對(duì)其他同學(xué)在過(guò)去的時(shí)間里正在做的事情的采訪,激發(fā)學(xué)生的好奇心和學(xué)習(xí)興趣,當(dāng)中的講解進(jìn)一步歸納鞏固了上一步學(xué)生討論的成果。最后通過(guò)練習(xí)達(dá)到運(yùn)用的目的。Step 8 Task 5 Practice: write and connect1. There are eight groups students. Ask each group of Ss to write down one kind of sentence parts. Group 1 and 2 write the subjects, group 3 and 4 write the continual verbs, group 5 and 6 write the momentary verbs, group 7 and 8 write the places. Each group should write down six different phrases on the card.2. The group leader hand in the cards.3. Call students to draw cards according to the teachers instructions and put them up on the blackboard.4. The other students speak out the sentences by connecting the phrases.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:連詞成句的游戲能夠讓所有同學(xué)都參與到課堂,增加了課堂的趣味性,同時(shí)也達(dá)到了練習(xí)when和while的用法的教學(xué)目的。Step 9 Task 6 Competition1. Call four students to draw three cards and act out the three actions at the same time.2. The others make different sentences with the Past Progressive Tense.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:抽取卡片表演,為學(xué)生練習(xí)說(shuō)句子提供了良好的語(yǔ)言情境,使本堂課真正達(dá)到了運(yùn)用的目的,語(yǔ)法課不僅僅是語(yǔ)法的
