Module 2 No Drugs 引言:英語學(xué)科屬于基礎(chǔ)學(xué)科,主要是讓學(xué)生通過聽、說、讀、寫等方面的語言實踐活動去發(fā)展英語語言能力,培養(yǎng)良好的心理素質(zhì)。英語教學(xué)應(yīng)強調(diào)使學(xué)生形成以交際能力為核心的英語語言運用素質(zhì)。教師要注意為學(xué)生營造一個能進行交際實踐的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境,并充分利用信息技術(shù),努力擴大學(xué)生的知識面,幫助學(xué)生構(gòu)建自己的自主學(xué)習(xí)模式。本課以素質(zhì)教育為目的,結(jié)合教材重點,難點及英語學(xué)科特點,利用多媒體輔助教學(xué),從視、聽、說等方面使學(xué)生得到鍛煉。在愉快、輕松的氛圍中達到運用英語交際的能力。通過話題啟發(fā)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用英語去積極思考體會問題,用調(diào)查、采訪、討論等活動形式完成教學(xué)任務(wù),進一步培養(yǎng)學(xué)生合作學(xué)習(xí)的能力,取長補短,加強團體協(xié)作意識,充分調(diào)動學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。 指導(dǎo)學(xué)生用批判的思維去接受新的事物,增強他們的辨別意識與能力。因此,盡管本模塊的話題No Drugs對學(xué)生而言有著一定的難度,但卻體現(xiàn)出了以學(xué)生為主體,老師為主導(dǎo)的特點。同時在閱讀、思考與討論的基礎(chǔ)上,從多方面認識吸毒的危害這一嚴(yán)重問題。寫下一篇闡明自己觀點、立場與看法的短文。學(xué)習(xí)者通過表達、溝通、解釋、詢問等各種語言形式來學(xué)習(xí)和掌握語言,實現(xiàn)目標(biāo)。教材分析:本模塊以No Drugs為話題,通過閱讀材料使學(xué)生對smoking 和 drugs有所了解,并且通過對這兩個話題使學(xué)生更深刻地認識到 smoking 和 drugs 對人體造成的危害以及對社會造成的危害,以及可能引起的一些社會性問題,如:burglary, shoplifting等。 從而鼓勵學(xué)生遠離煙和毒品,養(yǎng)成良好的生活習(xí)慣,關(guān)愛社會關(guān)愛他人,并通過所學(xué)知識運用恰當(dāng)方式規(guī)勸他人也遠離毒品。 教學(xué)任務(wù): 1 Introduction: 通過對抽煙數(shù)據(jù)的檢測,讓學(xué)生了解吸煙的危害,并通過英英釋義的方式進一步熟悉詞匯,最后利用對三個問題的討論來引出另一個話題:2 Reading and Vocabulary: 閱讀部分是打亂順序的兩篇不同類型的文章, 通過給兩篇文章選標(biāo)題的方式培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的邏輯思維能力,然后通過練習(xí)使學(xué)生掌握有關(guān)的詞匯,并培養(yǎng)學(xué)生獲取準(zhǔn)確信息的能力。3 Grammar 1: 是學(xué)習(xí)不定式作目的狀語的用法,在練習(xí)前先列出的幾種不同用法來引出可作目的狀語。接著又引出了其它可作目的狀語的短語。4 Function: 這一部分先展現(xiàn)例句引出要學(xué)的短語,然后通過練習(xí)來鞏固所學(xué)內(nèi)容。5 Listening and Vocabulary: 是關(guān)于smoking 和 drugs的一些信息,在聽之前通過問答的方式先鞏固詞匯,然后采用完成句子的形式對所學(xué)內(nèi)容進行檢測, 培養(yǎng)學(xué)生獲取信息并再現(xiàn)的能力。6 Grammar2: 通過不同類型的例句引出引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語從句的詞,然后通過練習(xí)來鞏固用法。7Pronunciation: 學(xué)會在日常交際中表達語氣和情感。8 Speaking: 通過回答問題的方式,繼續(xù)展開話題的討論。9 Writing: 根據(jù)電子郵件的內(nèi)容選擇合適的題目,并對其內(nèi)容做出討論,根據(jù)討論后的結(jié)果寫一份回信。10 Everyday English: 學(xué)習(xí)同意或不同意的表達方式,并通過真實語境來練習(xí)運用。11 Cultural Corner: 通過介紹多種戒煙的方法給煙民提供一個適合自己的戒煙方式,并通過對問題的討論,認識吸煙的害處,使自己成為一個有意志并且健康的人。12 Task: 讓學(xué)生收集有關(guān)抽煙危害的資料,然后通過討論,并提交一個調(diào)查報告。教材整合:Period 1: Introduction+ Reading and Vocabulary 精讀課Period 2: The language points 語言應(yīng)用課Period 3: Grammar 1 + Grammar 2 語法課 Period 4: Function+ Listening and Vocabulary + Pronunciation 口語聽力課Period 5: Everyday English +Speaking+ Writing 寫作課Period 6: Cultural Corner+ Task+ Module File 泛讀課教學(xué)原則:任務(wù)型教學(xué)(Task-based Language Teaching)是實施課堂教學(xué)的主要理念。教學(xué)方法:交際教學(xué)法(Communicative Approach);情景教學(xué)法(Situational Approach);整體語言教學(xué)法(Whole Language Teaching).The First Period: Introduction+ Reading and Vocabulary 1. Increase: make larger in size, degree, frequency etc. Inject: to use a needle to put a liquid into a persons body. Needle: a long thin pointed piece of metal for sewing, Powerful: able to influence or control/what people do or think. Reduce: to make smaller in size, degree, frequency. Step3: A:Talk about the pictures (the multimedia) Drugs contains cannabis, cocaine, heroin, ecstasy,opium, ice drug and so on. They make users become addicted to them. Once you take them, its hard to give it up, and its harmful for peoples health. Whats more, its expensive to buy drugs. So some users spend a lot of money on it, they even break the law, such as, steal money, sell drugs illegally.Well read two passages about a boy who used to be a drug addict.
